The program directly reimburses a child’s accredited college or university for a portion of the tuition and eligible fees only. This program is applied to tuition and fees after grants and scholarships from all other sources are allocated. Room and board are not reimbursable. WebThis amount varies every academic year; however, for the 2024-2024 academic year, the annual cap is $26,381.37. When tuition and mandatory fees exceed the annual cap, Yellow Ribbon funding is used to cover the balance. Northeastern contributes an unlimited amount of funding for Yellow Ribbon recipients, which the VA will match.
