Yet, higher HDL-C was not necessarily beneficial. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between HDL-C levels and intertrochanter bone mineral density. WebHigh total cholesterol prevalence declined from 1999–2000 to 2024–2024. Low HDL-C prevalence declined from 2007–2008 to 2024–2024.
