Throwing some grease, but it isn't bad because the tear is inside the "cup" of the boot. I hope they cover it under warranty. Just picked up the truck a month ago from a RAM dealer. I didn't pack the flange on the diff, just the area in front of the pinion nut. The flange on both the diff and the driveshaft were grease free. It just seems like all of the grease came out.
