WebI have breadboarded a DAM Meathead (the normal one) in order to test some transistors as substitution for the BC182L. It sounds awesome with both BC109 and 2n5088 (however there is no such a huge difference in sound between BC182L and 2n5088. With BC109 is sounds a bit more middle boosted to me).
